Following the success of our own award winning business module in Falmouth, Cornwall, opportunities are now available to franchise with Fit 'N' Fun Kids.

Fit 'N' Fun Kids are provisional members of the British Franchise Organisation and currently run services in Cornwall, areas of Surrey and Coventry.

Childrens Mobile Physcial Development Classes

Fit 'N' Fun Kids Physical Development Classes are parent/carer and child participation activity based. Each class is instructed by a trained Fit 'N' Fun Instructor with classes being a fun and rewarding experience for both parent and child.

Ages 6 weeks to 6 months - This very important first step in Fit 'N' Fun Kids Classes aims to provide parents with precious bonding time with their young babies. Young babies explore their environment by touch, taste, smell, sight and sound. Using the resources in these classes and enjoying the interaction with others will assist in each child's development. All classes are set up to provide gentle sensory stimulation, which will provide a good foundation for later sensory-motor development. Each class provides parents with quality bonding time with their babies and the opportunity of making friends with other parents - a needed support for all new and second time round parents!

Ages 6 months to 12 months - Babies of this age are now quite active. They are rolling over and beginning to crawl. Classes for this age group assist with child development and provide a fun and stimulating place for children to learn, play and interact at an early age.

Ages 12 months to 24 months - For children of this age, classes are a time for exploring. Each class includes encourages interactive play, together with hand-eye co-ordination activities. With an array of colourful resources, children will develop their senses in a relaxed, fun and stimulating environment.

Ages 2 to 3 years - Children are now ready to progress their balance and co-ordination, jumping and landing, ball control and movement skills. Classes are structured in a way that parents are aware of the targeted goals for this age group and the children have fun being encouraged by them. By now children are very much aware of our action songs and enjoy requesting favourites and interacting with others. With their added confidence, interactive stories are introduced where children follow their Instructor through a journey of imagination.

Ages 3 to 4 years - Following the Foundation Stage and incorporating learning goals such as mathematical development and communication, language and literacy which support our physical development programme, our three to four year old children progress at their own rate towards these goals. Classes continue with our programme but also have the added attraction of 'group tasks'. Children enjoy the interaction with other children and at the same time become aware of the changes in their bodies during physical play.

Ages 5 to 7 years - Classes for this age group are at the end of the school day and allow the children to burn off steam through freeplay, physical development set-ups, parachute play and team games.

Kit Bag Classes offer other providers of childcare the opportunity of using the Fit 'N' Fun Kids programme at their setting, this could be Day Care Nurseries, Pre-Schools, Mother and Toddler groups, and Reception Classes etc. This scaled down programme offers the physical development programme in smaller surroundings with activities scaled to suit the needs of client. Actions Songs, Interactive Stories, Group Tasks and Parachute Play are still provided in this shorter session.

Childrens Entertainment

Your customers can be sure when they book their childrens' entertainment with Fit 'n' Fun Kids that every little detail will be taken care of to give them an action packed party or event filled with wonderful memories.

Absolutely everything from Entertainment and Party Bags to Catering and Cakes can be provided to allow your customer a stress free party or event.

Customers can choose from many themed parties which include Bouncy Castles, Face Painting, Puppet and Mini Magic Shows, Parachute Play and games and more.

Support Creches

Support Creches are very popular for Consultation Days, Training Events and in particular Weddings. This mobile Support Creche can be set up at any event and is always run within the Childcare National Guidelines.

Clothing or Childcare

This part of the Franchise can be added to the Franchise Package as an addition to the Mobile Package.

Franchisees

As a Franchisee, the choice is yours as to the amount of provisions you may wish to offer. You may only wish to provide physical activity classes, which are very rewarding and lucrative in their own right. However, you will be fully trained in all areas to maximise the potential of your new business.

You also have the choice of running your provisions as an individual or to recruit other members of staff to work with you in your expanding business.

Mobile Fit 'N' Fun Kids Mobile Franchise Package

• Management and Marketing service fees 9%, with a minimum of £50 per week three months from launch.
• Option to open a Fit 'N' Fun Day Care Nursery from suitable premises, under Ofsted regulations at additional cost after the first year. The Franchisee would be responsible for the costs and equipment in establishing his/her Fit 'N' Fun Day Care Nursery and Out of School Care Clubs

Aspiring Candidates

Fit 'N' Fun Kids Entertainment provides private, corporate and charitable organisations with all forms of children's entertainment and can provide an array of activities, entertainment and party packages. Fit 'N' Fun Kids Support Crèches provide childcare support to any organisation that may require Fit 'N' Fun Kids to attend. These crèches are a mobile facility and do not need to be registered by Ofsted but National Standard Guidelines are adhered to at all times.

Fit 'N' Fun Kids are essentially looking for Franchisees who are passionate about running their own business. As a Franchisee you must be confident, have excellent interpersonal skills with adults and children and view the welfare, education and physical development of young children as priority.

Although a childcare background would be an asset to you, it is not essential, This particular type of franchise normally attracts mothers returning to work or working mothers, like Rachel Jones and Cathy Cowie, who decide that they need a more challenging career and notice a gap in the market for a much needed provision. However whether male or female, a business minded person would do very well in this market. All Franchisees will be trained fully in the Fit 'N' Fun Kids programme, covering administration, finance, marketing, sales and delivery of all provisions in the mobile franchise.

Franchisees who are looking for a career that they can operate from home and deliver locally by transporting their equipment in a Van are ideally suited to a Fit 'N' Fun Kids Franchise. This business suits the working parent as all facilities can be worked around the school hours and at weekends.

Full training, with the Head Office Team on hand offering support, enables the Franchisee to provide a quality service to parents and becomes a significant player in the development of the children.

Return on Investment

Return on investment is dependant on area of provision, class sizes, overheads etc. Projected returns vary between 40% and 60% of gross turnover. A guaranteed income of £500.00 per month will be paid from the Franchisor to the Franchisee for the first three months to support income in the early days of business.
