BABIES DAY CARE

3 - 12 months

This day care room will care for six babies and will be monitored by two members of staff. Within this multi-sensory / babies room the babies will be able to explore their surroundings

The adjoining soft play room is available for the majority of the day, so the children will be able to develop their basic motor skills and build confidence in their crawling and so to walking with a soft landing awaiting them during their unsteady months.

We encourage parents to initially assist in the settling in of their baby to ensure familiarity with the surroundings and with the nursery staff.

Parents are asked to provide the nursery with an outline of their babies daily routine (i.e. sleeping and feeding times) to ensure continuity of care.

A daily diary will be compiled throughout the day, recording all activities undertaken including times and length of sleep and intake of milk and meals.

There is a separate sleeping room covered by baby listening monitors which is quiet, comfortable and well ventilated, surrounded by soothing lighting and music

Interaction with the children in the other rooms will also feature in their daily routine.
